@rrh :) try again please, but now I'm going to bed (#hammock)

@rrh if those 'examples' are meant to be live examples, they either don't work, or your script doesn't work on IE7 (it should, w/ jQuery)

@rrh all I see is rows and rows of virtual thumbnails (not even thumbnails of actual pictures)

    • Marjolein Katsma Marjolein Katsma

@rrh well, each thumb does seem to link to an actual image, but that's it...

@rrh what's to figure out when there is no live example to be seen? a row of thumbnails is not something to be 'opeehnd'

    • Marjolein Katsma Marjolein Katsma

@rrh no that won't help because when I click on a thumb it just opens a single image - I tried that before already

@rrh this is what I see, rows of thumbs: http://ur1.ca/53byj

    • Marjolein Katsma Marjolein Katsma

@rrh make it actually work on IE7, maybe? there really is no ‘live‘ example to be seen

@rrh the thumbs are just icons... are you suggesting you *don't* have dev skills? are you saying the rows of icons are actual live samples?

@rrh usually they have working examples - I see none on your page

@rrh and fyi, I *am* a developer and familiar with jQuery

@rrh fyi, it *does* sort of work on Opera 11.1; it just does NOT work on IE7. at all.

@rrh Id' be happy to test but could you give me that URL again please? the 'head' of this convo seems to have disappeared...

@rrh now it seems better in IE than at first it was in Opera ;) yes it works! did you do other updates than just the bugfix?

@rrh some small problems: I can hit arrow keys to navigate a set, but hover on image says 'click to close': only works on the close button!

      Friday, 23-Sep-11 18:48:05 UTC
    • Marjolein Katsma Marjolein Katsma

@rrh also on hover cursor changes to a double arrow - that's unusual and doesn't convey the direction of change when you click

      Friday, 23-Sep-11 18:49:23 UTC
    • Marjolein Katsma Marjolein Katsma

@rrh in flash set, only way to navigate seems to be keyboard - not visible this is even possible, no cursor change or title attribute

@rrh will try Opera again later :) prod me if I forget!

      Friday, 23-Sep-11 18:53:28 UTC
    • Marjolein Katsma Marjolein Katsma

@rrh that looks like a more usual solution, the arrow appearing on hover indicating direction when you click

@rrh I've been out all day on a long hiking day (posted photo!) with friends, after which we discussed vacation plans. only just got back.
