@kevingranade Every status update in JSON and XML includes a conversation ID. I think that's what you were looking for.

@evan hmm, I was looking at 1.0.x, if you're updating to 1.0.0beta1 or similar, there will instead be no conversation api.

@evan aah, so you are updating to something resembling 1.0.x head, ok, I was thinking the api documentation in the code would be updated.

@gabrielsaldana ok, %x provides conteXt in format string, C-c, C-c does "open conversation for status at point", will commit when I get home

@gabrielsaldana just as importantly, %x fails gracefully if there is no such element, unlike first prototype :)
