     @dewaldp I haven't had much luck with jabberd. My next attempt will probably be ejabberd (I'm on Ubuntu 8.04 here)

     @dewaldp my first look at a Jabber server was Friday. It's a bit of a pain to learn jabberd, 6 hours to get a LAN jabber server up at work.
