Still can't decide between !ubuntu and !arch !linux. Both have pros and cons.

@kainashi if you have experience working on console, and you like that, switch to archlinux. !linux

@kainashi @wintellect Well arch is faster. It's harder to configure (at start), but later You'll get used to it :)

@mmi99 @mikechelen Well, currently I'm testing !arch. I love it's speed and flexibility, but Compiz and Flash is slower than on !ubuntu.

@wintellect I love flexibility, so I'm satisfied when I can install apps I want without deleting/disabling those I don't want.

@mmi99 I moved to mainly console (gui for browser) from gui a few years back. Its great, more productive coding and it looks cool :-) !linux

@mmi99 Mail, coding, music, etc is all via the console and screen. The only big reason I run a gui is for firefox. !linux

@mikechelen umm.. I think my english is not as good as it should be for explanation. Just try arch yourselves. Virtualbox should be safe.

@kainashi thats a good idea, it might be difficult to tell difference in flash performance from a VM though

@mikechelen thats true, but the only thing I had to do was turning compiz off. I have 8 yrs old PC, so that made a big difference.
