Indeed. #rstatus is a simple, ruby-based OStatus-compatible implementation.

Now now, don't be trolling people with Ruby based software...

and PHP is better? :p
-
Strangely, yes.
-
is there a common lisp or scheme implementation of OStatus? :p
-
Real scheme hackers make their own implementations of everything right?
-
hmm...(ok, I'll give you that. I have seen more usable sites built with PHP than with Ruby.)

Perl is the secure PHP.

@kete Though how many large scale sites are written using perl? Curiosity - I honestly have no idea
-
What's wrong with Ruby-based software?

Except you can't "pick up" to the extent ought be possible with current implementations, eg http://status.net/open-source/issues/803

Oops, tried to "dent" you, too. I meant python, sorry (exhausted).
-
at least it's not as bad as Lisp :p that goes beyond separate dialects
-
AH! That makes more sense. I know there are perl frameworks but hadn't seen widespread usage. I should get back into !django
-
XD

@coyo indeed, if it can become part of a work project then I'll work on it lol
