@dto I found one of those on my floor. Just one, dead, several months ago. But I'm a little concerned. Bigger and uglier than bedbugs.

I've heard that a hot wash cycle is able to kill them. Not sure if that is true or not though. Better that this happened at the hotel...

Totally. I'm glad I stayed an extra night since I stayed at the hotel 2 nights rather than discovering it when I got back... :P

Yikes. And yes, almost certainly. Matched images and descriptions online exactly. Found multiple, collected one dead specimen.

Should be bedbug free. Thew out almost everything I brought with me and bought new things, put everything else in ziplock bags.

Vaguely fear I'm not the first customer of theirs to get bedbugs, found a long-dead-looking one on bathroom wall, will call dept of health.

They must have been especially confused when I came out dripping with water since I washed my hair in their sink. Left a 120% tip.

I don't know how I could have avoided bedbugs? I mean, all I did was sleep in a hotel, and then they were on my face.
