I think the new #StatusNet interface has made Groups useless to me. I'm leaving most of them, slowly but surely. Boy, I miss microblogging.

I don't necessarily dislike the new design but it sure isn't microblogging anymore.
-
Sure it is, lack of threading is sad, but not very important to me.
-
I feel that StatusNet has become a different service... Is it just my inertia and resistance to change - or a real issue about its nature ?
-
@jonkulp, I see entire conversations in the web interface instead of just the single dent that posted t othe group. It's just too much data.
-
@bkuhn yup, lots of turns for the worse, unfortunately. Considering doing a logical continuation fork of the 0.9 branch. Thoughts?
-
why are groups useless?
-
about that, I think I missed the definition of !heehaw (pointer please)!
-
@fontana of course. :)
-
I feel they are more functional now especially thinking in lines of a remote instance of groups being very effective
-
@bkuhn Would a FreedomBox with StatusNet 0.9.9 fix things?
-
One #StatusNet codebase makes more sense. I'm annoyed, but a fork's not warranted IMO. Maybe code in an alternative supported web interface?
