     @kevie tried gnome 3 and kde on fedora and was unimpressed. Gnome 2 on mint-debian kicks ass

     @archtynix I used to use Gnome2, however after a month with Gnome3 I switched to XFCE (currently using Crunchbang)

     Perhaps you should give #GNOME 3.2 another try once !Fedora 16 comes out in Nov.

     Swiched my laptop to #Chakra / #Arch yesterday because Fedora KDE was too slow. I have good hardware, but Fedora is doing something wrong.

     @ddevine I recently ditched fedora kde too. On my 6 core 8gb ram machine somehow it was still slow... even with nepomuk turned off

     @ddevine With KDE I probably agree (tho I only tried it for a day or two) but they've done a better job (at least speedwise) with Gnome 3

     Interesting - I went the other way. Didn't like what I saw of Unity prior to release, jumped to Fedora for Gnome 3.
