Firefox 7 is the new stable release; if you're using a supported Ubuntu you shouldn't need to add a PPA at all? What PPA did you add?
-
I added mozillateam/firefox-stable like described on OMG Ubuntu. But even without this PPA I don't receive an update. Strange.

My own article is better: http://ur1.ca/4be6m See note: firefox-stable is deprecated
-
Though even deprecated it still has Firefox 7 — you should have received an update. Hrm…
-
What version of Ubuntu are you using? Observation: firefox-stable PPA has no packages for natty

Today I received the update without firefox-stable. I don't know why it took two days, but it's there. Thanks for your help!

No, it just came with the regular daily updates. I have no idea what was wrong, but no it works. Thanks again.
