A rather interesting discussion going on about RMS's recent verbal antics over at G+: http://bit.ly/qPbbfA !GNU !Linux !FSF
- Shlomi Israely repeated this.

It doesn't look like most people who have commented on it there read what he actually said.

@cwebber : +1. The "discussion" is utterly biased, the quote misrepresents what he actually said... reeks of #strawman argument. @rajitsingh

@rajitsingh: I agree with RMS, Death doesn't make you less evil. Btw, they are basing RMS on mashable too http://ur1.ca/5c8s2

@cwebber, welcome to how bad the tech "press" is: Misrepresent slightly what someone said to link bait to generate advertising revenue.

True (though even "tech press" aside this was somewhat bound to happen given group that has both irrational love for jobs & hate for rms)

Think different and stop blabbering about Steve Jobs. Long live Steve Workers! http://ur1.ca/5c81n

@rajitsingh The media has been miss representing huge swaths of computer history in the wake of Jobs death in order to canonize.

@rajitsingh I am pleased that RMS pointed out that the man is no saint and his influence was not completely positive on the world.

@rajitsingh Well I have to agree with RMS, Jobs was just creating more and more canser (iPad,iPhone,iPod).

@rajitsingh I agree with all the comments rms has made. In India we say, whoever is dead, is good. But, their karma, is in their name.
