   udev 172-1 still suffers from the "waiting for /dev to be fully populated." freeze. Has any other one had the same problem? !debian

     @vinc17 Yes, I have. I just reboot rarely enough that it doesn't bother me. !debian

     Similar here (I have Debian/unstable), until I upgraded the kernel to 3.0.0-2-amd64 yesterday, where udev got stuck after the first boot.

     @vinc17 try downgrading the kernel or try out the liqourix kernel
