     afaik the GUI is not free, also u need boot wich require and additional effort, but if you have pics from inside the kindle is a good start

     uhh...no. Afaict those are just the things that they're REQUIRED to give b/c of gpl. linux, busybox, webkit, etc.

     @ismaell but after jailbreaking into an unrestricted (non-Free) boot loader, I still couldn't get a kernel to boot. dunno why yet
