I'm getting "Symbol's function definition is void: auth-source-search" with ~/.authinfo. Is that a new function in Emacs 24? I'm on 23.2.1.

@tius yes, u can set the type of authentication you want. OAuth is not enforced

Thanks! It works now. Not with ~/.authinfo though, but I guess that's an Emacs 24 feature :)

version 1.2.1 didn't work with .authinfo file? what version of emacs are u using?

23.2.1 from Debian squeeze (stable). It seemed to open it (.authinfo.gpg) because asked f. passph. But still asked for username/passw.

OK, don't stress for my sake, though! I don't *need* .authinfo ... just a convenience :)

@gabrielsaldana I had some link problems as well, weird cacheing? But I tested with newest master from git repo so shouldn't be that :)

@sazius it's probably the savannah download mirrors. It says they have a 24 hour delay
