Difficult to stay on identica, seems it lives the last era of it since they made the last changes. I still can't adapt to new version of it.

I did. The problem not here only, it with its layout and interface. It doesn't look like identica, never. I want original identi.ca to back.

@mvdan Well Diaspora is open source software and I'm pretty sure they probably treat your data better

@reality having your own server does not mean "disconnected". Just means "is in my hands".

Sadly, sn isn't designed with this flexibility in mind, choosing to emit html rather than fill in templates. #TheRealOldSchool

@zoowar that entity can't buy your *own* server, which is in your hands. Power of decentralization.

My point is they could buy identica with all its data. In your case, the can get your data by following your public stream.
