Anyone got some tips on making !operab behave properly with !freenet ? (i.e. so it will load the pages completely without dropping images)
-
@cyberkiller Try using Turbo mode.
-
@nickko turbo won't work with freenet - the connection is to a server node running on localhost so no proxies
-
@cyberkiller why is not working, i use Opera Turbo trough a local host proxy and it works fine.
-
@nickko using turbo with freenet would be using an external proxy to connect to localhost which connects to a completely different protocol
-
@nickko actualy what I am looking for is to force Opera not to timeout on page elements when loading pages (like firefox does)
-
@cyberkiller no, Turbo don't connect to localhost freenet proxy, freenet proxy that is connecting to Turbo proxy. Try.
-
@nickko ok I tried just to prove you wrong - Opera doesn't use turbo when opening localhost:8888
-
@cyberkiller is not a real proxy ? you don't add it in opera proxy settings ?
-
@nickko nope - to use freenet you install a "node" and then connect to it from a web browser to localhost
