     I need non-free for a binary firmware package, iwlwifi. Nevertheless, Debian is getting better at cornering non-free software, which is good

     As I said, I'm no lover of !Debian #nonfree. The interesting use is for intra-community license fixes, not full-on proprietary distribution.

     I was referring to that IBM license. It doesn't appear to permit distribution of modified versions (point 4)
