   !Maemo Mapper is broken: when saving a track, it says that the track is saved but may have actually saved nothing! !n900

     AFAIK !Maemo Mapper isn't maintained any more. Use Mappero.

     Actually I was using #Mappero 3.2, but the !n900 package name is still maemo-mapper.

     Hmm... it seems it tries to save to / by default, where it has no permission to. Have you tried saving to your home directory? Works for me.

     Mappero can save the track to the home directory, but for /, it should output an error message, not say that the track was saved!
