#Laptops Designed With You In Mind -- http://identi.ca/url/54094977 !ubuntu !gnu !linux
-
@michelenlared why did you send that to #gnu? They don't even run on fully free drivers.
-
@michelenlared do you not even take a break from spamming groups for Christmas? OMFG
-
-
Gracias. Razonable me parecen los 512€ que piden por un i5 con 4Gb de RAM (...). Ahora echo un ojo a tu enlace.
-
@michelenlared This is SPAM - please stop.

Aaand it begins.

@mvdan Unwanted commercial advertising is SPAM. Group admins of GNU should/need take notice of this post!

We have tried to wake up the group admins, but to no result. @evan, any help?
-
@takeshitakenji leaving an !identica group for a single member — no matter who — sounds absurd to me, the block feature is so compelling…
-
@zack Tell me more of this feature. I had no idea one could block groups.
-
@takeshitakenji between a handful of users, they make the !linux groups more hassle than they're worth, perhaps constant spam reports
-
@zack unfortunately, blocking someone won't prevent you from seeing their group posts
-
@takeshitakenji report as a spammer in response to every dent, eventually the only result will be to force the mods to act
-
@eightyeight oh, #ouch — I wasn't aware of that :-(
-
@eightyeight @zack really? WOW
-
@zack however, if you're using an !irc client for your microblogging, then '/ignore' is a very viable solution. cc @fernandomiguel
-
@eightyeight you would still get email notifications :P
-
@fernandomiguel not if you've disabled them in your preferences
-
@michelenlared Thanks, but I already know about @system76.
-
I left !linux for the same reason = michelenlared -- but now he's using !GNU tag :(
-
It's a known bug. For now, that's all we can do.
-
@takeshitakenji Nope, I accepted leaving !linux - but he should leave !gnu, not me. I'll fight for this one, as GNU = GNU Not Ubuntu ;)
-
@zykotick9 all of his posts do seem #Ubuntu centric, the GNU and Linux tags seem to be added to widen the number of pissed off people

@thistleweb oh I agree 100% - if he kept his posts (all Ubuntu) in the !ubuntu group, there would be no problem (not good for trolling ..
-
.. i guess).
-
Or seeing them in your replies when they reply to you, or receiving an email when they reply to you. #broken
-
@zack @takeshitakenji It would have been were it not broken. Seriously, block *doesn't* work.
