    I spent some time dumping my Perl book text onto WikiBooks. I think most of it is there now. It's just materials I used for training classes

      @diablomarcus, I learned !Perl so long ago, @merlyn's book didn't exist. I learned it from #CamelBook, 1st edition. #GetOffMyLawn. :)

      @bkuhn to be fair, I learned initially from your book... this is to clean up some of my rough edges :) #StayingOnTheLawn

      @bkuhn, I wrote #CamelBook first edition. So you *did* learn !Perl from my book!

      @merlyn, of course. I meant to make the distinction between Learning Perl & Programming !Perl, not a distinction between authors. :)

      @diablomarcus, eek, my book is incomplete & has errors. So I'm glad you moved on to a better author's book now. (cc: @merlyn)

      @bkuhn I found it immensely helpful for understanding basics. #ModernPerl was also great. But after using for a year, @merlyn is great :)

      @bkuhn Wov! I've never knew that you are affected by Perl ;) and combination of perl + java seems somehow weird for you. ;)
