      @littlet indexing and semantic searching needs CPU. Heat is a consequence. Turn Strigi/akonadi off if you don't like it. !kde !akonadi

      @littlet in my case even if i use another dist one all was indexing, nepomuk was faster so less ressources.. good luck

      @littlet I finally disabled Strigi Desktop Search and the problem vanished. Nepomukindexer = strigi in disguise

      Maybe you can formally release strigi 0.7.7. That helps a lot with those PDFs. Also, wait for KDE 4.8, or install the RC.
