Why does the fish protocol not work in Dolphin any more? Works on my other machines. How does one bug track that? !Kubuntu !Dolphin !KDE
-
@alltinomit AFAIR #fish got replaced by #sftp , which supposedly works the same but is better
-
@sredna I read an article about it somewhere long time ago. Anyway what difference does it make if you use sftp instead of fish? None for me
-
@alltinomit it's unreliable for me too (though it works at the moment, just tested). I tend to just use #sftp instead. Never caused problems
-
Thank you, sftp does work better, no reason not to use that instead, I guess. :-)
-
@alltinomit now is sftp protocol instead of fish
-
@alltinomit !Kubuntu !Dolphin !KDE look at sshfs/fusermount:
-
@cyberkiller the same? I really like fish and used it in Konqi quite a lot so I hope not
-
@alltinomit ... sshfs username@remotepc:/remote/dir localdir should give you what fish did.

would love to have Arduino support in KDevelop, shouldn't be too difficult I think.
-
@afiestas I think this would be nice! I have a project in the UNED with people who use Arduino. It would be nice to tell them that KDE rocks
-
@afiestas that would be nice and an reason to buy one :)
-
@baltolkien there's some working support for Arduino in !KDevelop, needs some caring though but the base is there
-
@apol could you provide some links?
-
@apol Maybe a GSoC for next summer :)
-
@amon0thoth1 nope, but i can get you in touch
-
@apol I tell this to my new friends of Arduino.
