@fontana Any hypothesis as to why #FLOSS would have more sexism? Less strict governance and enforcement of policy?

I don't think it's #ageism to call folks under age 21 "young". And, of course, you are #troll'ing. Do you have any productive feedback?

#Form990's report on what the organization *did*, not what it's *going* to do. I'm sure !Conservancy's projects will mentor anyone who asks!

@fontana are you insinuating that @conservancy is not immune from #heehaw / #laughin?

This is a good piece of feedback. We're working on a series of policies for !Conservancy now, I'll add that among them & require of projects

@fontana,I indeed find it !disturbing that IRS says not to make #Form990 Schedule B public, which has this info. I'd prefer it to be public.

@fontana, Meanwhile, note that public support test is designed to make sure this doesn't happen. #Conservancy's using the most stringent test

@fontana, IMO, while older developers have trouble getting hired in the general computing field, not as big a problem in Free Software IMO.

@fontana I think they use the regulations/procedures as intended, and possibly don't consider ways they can be subverted. #optmism?

@fontana,any regulatory system can be abused. However, IMO, an NPO acting in good faith can use #Form990 to communicate well with its public

@fontana, there are privacy reasons that #Form990 Schedule B's are private. It has the donors' full contact info, for example.

@bkuhn It seems there may be other ways to accomplish the transparency @fontana refers to.

@bkuhn Didn't http://ur1.ca/20cum once list individual donors by name? Can't find it now, if it did. #transparency #vanity

one valid reason people do not want to be named donors is that they do not want other donation seekers hitting them up.
