Arguably the best FOSS cross platform game available http://ur1.ca/7m8g7 !openttd !linux !ubuntu
- Emmanuel Ninos and Bernhard Danzer repeated this.
-
@eriksteinmann Very arguably indeed. I'd go with 0ad.
-
indeed arguable. !wesnoth for me, and the new stable release 1.10 is upcoming
-
@rhonda: That's a good example of a solid FOSS game project too. On 0ad: it sure looks beautiful but it's still in alpha stage.
-
Yes there is: opengfx, opensfx and openmsx. For a few years now. Before that you indeed needed non free content from the TTD CD.
-
@rhonda Have you considered to dual-license the #Wesnoth assets under CC-BY-SA? It would be useful for non-software applications.
Mike Linksvayer likes this. -
empezando la universidad practicamente 3 año de sistemas y aun me cuesta un chingo #c++
-
That's not for me to decide, I think it was discussed. I'm no big fan of GPL for the same reason, but non-software apps can also carry GPL
-
@rhonda It's because CC-BY-SA and GPL are mutually incompatible, which is a real shame. A dual licensing should suffice.
