@stav all SEs will get ICS! this is my fab device of the moment... but since it wasnt coming out, I bough last week a g…
-
@stav: i would do it. cyanogenmod is epic!
-
@coyo Except on my phone, where you can't dial 911 on it. Support for said phone was removed because of that.
-
@takeshitakenji: that's some serious fail. you should be able to dial 911 on any phone.
-
@coyo I'll be replacing CM7 with an ICS ROM...once I get my phone back from the Metro lost and found...
-
I my ♥ Galaxy Tab 7". I've had it for one year already and still love it. Use it many times every day!
-
I like everything about !cyanogen ... except for the almost daily crashes. Developers need to work on #stability.
-
@stav sounds just like a blackberry ;)
-
@stav I love my Archos 80 G9, it less then half the price. It's a lesser build quality, but it does any thing you need with a tablet.
-
@stav I have had it installed for quite a while now and have found it more stable than the original rom.
-
@takeshitakenji what, do you have to dial 0118 999 881 999 119 725... 3 instead? #itcrowd
-
Well, mine was a gift from my sons, so it is #priceless
-
That would be ideal solution, but I am not holding my breath until it's available.
-
@stav you are correct there sir.
-
@kevingranade Probably have to dial the fire station manually.
-
@stav Use a third-party ROM.
-
@sandersch I like my A70, but I'm wishing I had a A80 these days... does yours have the "puddling screen" defect?
-
@jfm you mean if you press to hard on the back you see it on the screen? This it does, but it's not a big issue.
-
@stav I just put ICS on my Samsung Vibrant, and I would've been stuck at 2.2 if I hadn't gone third-party ROM.
-
@takeshitakenji what rom are u running?
-
@gabrielsaldana This one: http://ur1.ca/7qf1e
-
@takeshitakenji thanks, I'll check it out :)
-
I'm not quite ready to install RC software on my Galaxy Tab. I have already bricked it once and don't want to risk that ordeal again.
-
@stav It's not bricking unless you have no choice to send it in for repairs. I've made my phone unbootable, but it's easy to fix software.
-
@stav: How'd you unbrick your phone? Are there links on the Web? If not, can you write something?
-
I hired the best IT consultant in San Francisco & he did it remotely through my laptop. Took about an hour...
-
@stav: Wouldn't happen to have been one of the Prodromou offspring, would it?
-
Just by the strangest of coincidences, it was @nate hahaha
-
@stav Bricking and unbootable are different things. An actually bricked device can only be used as a brick. :D
-
@stav Or a paperweight... You get the drift. :P
-
@stav Haha!
-
@sandersch It's a lot worse for some people -- you don't have to press on the back beyond holding it. Glad to hear yours is okay.
