"Trusted computing." This is DRM and an excuse to put DRM-enforcing hardware in your computer in a way that supposedy benefits you.

Thanks, @flyingsquirrel That kind of thing can sneak past us non-tech people. Doublespeak can be hard to spot. "Trusted computing" = #DRM

@1111aether True; a signed !ACTA treaty doesn't obligate !Canada to rewrite domestic laws, else we wouldn't need parliament. !CDNpoli !C11

@1111aether Regardless, treaties are signed but then must be ratified by the respective governments. Even then can be changed or broken...
