     I had that annoyance with emacsclient -t; however w/ emacs 24 and `export TERM="xterm-256color"` it's good for me now

     Doesn't seem to work in !lisp mode. In fact, breaking in !lisp mode makes it stop working in all buffers.

     apparently a !lisp-mode collision. fixed, but maybe not the right way. does !emacs !lisp have namespaces/packages?
