Dear !Lazyweb: Recently I saw a review of a new GTK-based notebook/notetaking app with an exotic name. Any ideas what the name might be?

@diablomarcus @trashheap not gedit or Xournal. Hierarchical like Notecase or Cherrytree. Can't seem to dig it up. But thanks!

If you haven't already, searching your browser history might be a good lead.

@mjjzf Let me know if you find it. Been looking for a gtk hierarchical note app. Currently I use HNB in the terminal http://2tu.us/43r9

Have you checked out org-mode for emacs? I believe it has been ported to vim, but I'm not sure.

"Ported" is a bit overreaching for what it is, which is a partial clone of org-mode's hierarchical note-taking format

@joar I have looked into Org-Mode, especially after listening to #Mintcast episodes on it. My brain is Emacs incompatible.

@trashheap I used to use HNB. What I have chosen for this time is CherryTree. Used it before. Quirky, but good.
