   can !ubuntu jaunty rip cd in default install? usually i have to add sound-juicer

     @tombott thanks. yes, it is a package away and small one too. I am suggested to use rhythmbox. have you compared them?

     @mencucu I think Rhythmbox is over kill for ripping a CD. Sound Juicer is great, i also use #soundconverter great app for converting audio

     @tombott @mencucu I use RipperX on my Linux box for ripping CDs. I like it because it does FLAC, which I use at home.
