*sigh* #Akonadi causing load to raise to 80. Have to kill the processes. The second machine of mine this happeneds to. :-\ !KDE !Kubuntu

@sredna Sorry, nope. And 'stop' does nothing either. The same on every boot. Only solution is to try and kill all akonadi processes.

On my laptop I did it as part of the start up routine, but this is a client computer. Vaguely remember a bug report, but no solution.

Found the bug on launchpad. http://ur1.ca/84biq But nothing to do about it.

@alltinomit You should be able to limit the number of resources it consumes in KDE System.Settings.

Only found nepomuk settings, not Akonadi. Does not use KMail. Will try to restart virtuoso. Search goes on. But cron/killall works well. :-)
