It has been a week of aches, pains, and assorted bodily gnarlyiness. Is this the beginning of middle-age decline?
-
@vanden fraid so…
-
@vanden you need an #elsmussols middle-aged bloke workout | how are your #chainsaw skills?
-
@r7 I've worn chainsaw pants professionally, though it has been some time.
-
@vanden are there canadians who can't chainsaw?
-
@r7 I expect so. Recently, we got electricity *&* cities :-) But, I anticipated take-up on chainsaw pants. They *are* a thing, & cool, too.
-
@r7 @vanden and i got the autograph of #larrywalker in my scorebook :D
-
@r7 Canadians, interested in baseball? Oh, tell me another! :-)

Most of my pain issues are inflamatory, I sip turmeric (2 tsp) in water. Helps keep it at bay and rarely do I have to take meds.
-
@1111aether I rarely take painkillers. I've a fscked back. Combo of old war wound and my steady progress on dropping mass having ways to go.

@suhaib What does not kill me, makes me stronger. Now, with swords! :-)

Not fond of them either, well, they're not cheap;) Anyhow, turmeric is a spice (the one that makes curry yellow)
-
@1111aether Well, yes. It's always in the front row of my spice-rack :-)
-
I dislike turmeric because it turns curry into a "stain"
-
Tastes awful on it's own too! but it's an antiinflamatory and help my back to some degree :)
-
Lower back pain?
-
No, upper and right shoulder. Luckily. I've heard lower back pain can be intollerable :(
-
Do you have a full range of motion? Does it feel better after a long soak in a warm bath?
-
Yup and for a while. It'sa result of involuntary clenching, not much can be done for it . Prolly go away in a bit though :)
-
First you need to understand people and feelings.
-
@suhaib And they'll tell you that. I’m a human being! I have feelings!
