I find “statusticians” or “identicats” (depending on whether you’re including federated users) work quite well as an analogue to “tweeps”.

@ghostdancer I concur. If I learnt how to make a poll, I would immediately feel it necessary to learn how to lobotomize that knowledge out.

Yeah, I disabled all of the non-status plugins; pretty easy to enable, if that’s desired. Well, when I’m back home at least. :)
