Well, there isn’t any good way to move your dents over at the moment. The account backup doesn’t pull your whole history. @samatjain does

You don't _need_ daemons, but it improves performance about 10 to 1 when posting. Worth the effort for me.

It means that only people you invite can join your instance. You don't have to invite anyone.

You have to invite people to have accounts on your server. I doesn't afect who can subscribe.

Really? Man, I found it barely usable without the daemons running. Would take 10 – 30 seconds to post a notice.

See, I think the problem is normal people only post once every few minutes and can afford to wait. Only us obsessives need daemons. :)

Nope. I'd run the daemons just to save myself 27 seconds a day. My server isn't doin much else.

Go to your profile page. Click on the remote button (right side bar). For identi.ca people enter address as http://identi.ca/<user_name>

@gomerx I noticed that I have almost no offsite traffic without the daemons running.

Sometimes you have to keep trying to get it to go through. You can also subscribe using "<user_name>@identi.ca"

You can do anything you like. Personal blogs can covers 3-4 things (or more) because we all have more than 1 interest.
