applause for non-scots voting on scottish independence - so, can my neighbours vote agaisnt me moving house? !bbcqt
-
@mcnalu Coming from a place with a history of such votes, I must ask: if wanting only scots to vote, how do you define 'scot'?
-
@vanden if it's anything like the football team then if your granny lived next door to a Scot then that qualifies ;)
-
@vanden same as any election - you have to live here - dent over-brevity led me to say non-scots when I meant folk not living in Scotland
-
@mcnalu I figured as much, but did feel the need to check. I had, however, collected resources to give you quite the pranging if not :-)
-
@vanden if I had meant ethnic scottishness then a) I'd have deserved a pranging b) possibly ruled myself out of a vote :)
-
@mcnalu Last time round in Canada, the premier of Quebec blamed the loss on "l'argent et la vote ethnique." Not a career high.
-
@vanden indeed not
-
@mcnalu I certainly agree on (a). But, more importantly, I got to use 'pranging' in a sentence, so it is a wonderful day, after all.
-
@vanden pranging is a fine word. I seem to have attracted a fair bit of it of late.
