I suppose it depends on the definitions of patriotism and nationalism. There is no place for exclusionary racism in this debate

I suppose all arguments get simplified to a base form, and this is clearly not a good thing

@bruce89 I agree with that. The debate whether in pub or parliament never seems to rise much higher than that simpleness.

@bruce89 for me the case for independence is not convincing. Salmond is a master of rhetoric but I find him inconsistent in his arguments.
