dear !lazyweb can you enlighten me why !owncloud *dav stuff works with little conf effort in #apache but needs much conf in #nginx ?

Owncloud is probably focused at apache, like most web server software. If apache can run it, nginx can for sure ;-)

BTW my static IP should get here in two days. I'll be working on that owncloud+nginx thing until it works flawlessly.
