I want to unbind M-Tab from switching applications in my wm so that !emacs can use it. Suggested bindings for M-Tab in my window manager?
about a year ago from web-
@vanden alt tab?

@vanden alt tab?

M-<Tab> is emacs-speak for Alt+Tab. (Also, Esc then Tab.) Lots of emacs modes bind M-<Tab>; I want to rebind Alt+Tab in wm so emacs can use.

@vanden In KDE I replaced Alt for everything WM related with the Super aka. Windows key. I picked that up from Awesome.

@vanden sorry, I thought M meant "Meta". That must be "Super"

@diablomarcus M is Meta; meta is usually Alt. And yes, the arcane emacs vocabulary *does* make things easier, thanks for asking :-)

@maikb Thanks. That seems a good choice, especially as my wm binds Super-Tab to I never use.
