@marjoleink From the beginning I thought cool XMPP support. But it was never stable for me ..? Are they still using php implementation?
-
@marjoleink come join brainbird. Here it's XMPP paradise =)
-
@marjoleink Now I am using twhirl. Which I like because it will refresh for me and I can also setup xmpp.
-
@alfredwesterveld in version 0.7 it was fine (some bugs, but they were solved); from version 0.8 it's been downhill
-
@alfredwesterveld I have no idea about the software they're using to implement XMPP
-
@alfredwesterveld it's the most efficient way for me to use identi.ca, so I really, *really* want it to be stable again, and stop gobbling!
-
@marjoleink I know they used xmpphp in the beginning, but I believe it did not scale because php is not the language for this .. No threads
-
@marjoleink I know Evan will try to make it work :). Else maybe you can help him out to make it work because it's open source
-
@alfredwesterveld not exactly the kind of thing I have expertise in! I know nothing about the actual protocol or threaded operations
