As a PHP dev, talking to you on a PHP application, I'd beg to differ. People write fine literature in English, even though it's shit. :D

@windigo I think people's argument is that its too *easy* to write utter shit in PHP, not that it isnt possible to write a materpiece

@windigo mostly tounge-in-cheek, though PHP does seem to go out of it's way to make you write bad code.

Yeah, if we were using the "enough rope to hang yourself" analogy, PHP could be seen as a rope factory.
