      @duck1123 Is that bad? In the Fortran-60 days there were many preprocessors to add structured programming, and we know how C++ started.

      @barryfm When I wrote that, I was writing some Java code that I didn't like the looks of and was upset that I couldn't change the syntax.

      @duck1123 Java is pretty ugly. But a preprocessor could help with its verbosity and generate better looking code then any IDE I have seen.
