@bkuhn what? People break those kinds of rules all the time because they are trying to be *too* nice in situations like that.

@x1101, He argued I was a mean person for not bending rules & said he saw this more often in USA than his home country (I don't know where).

@dno, yeah, that's the point. It's b/c I deeply grok how successful strong social engineering can work that I'm such a stickler on rules.
