why does my cashew lose the name of the activity? !KDE and why isn't the activity icon displayed in the activity switching widget?

Same problem here, if you restart plasma-desktop it should work. I also always lose the name of some activities. :/

@djotaku What KDE version is that? I am using 4.7.2 to 4.8.2 not showing that issues. Hope this help

I have the cashew name issue in 4.7.4, but the activity names/icons stay.

sounds like a problem with kactivitymanagerd.

Try running: qdbus org.kde.ActivityManager /ActivityManager ActivityName `qdbus org.kde.ActivityManager /ActivityManager CurrentActivity`
