I just managed to shoo a lizard out of the house without hurting him. Last time I tried this I accidentally lopped a tail off.

@jk @nybill should clarify: *outside* the house but they occasionally wind up in the house, especially geckos.

@sandersch yep that's why I didn't wanna hurt him. Now @dingle, on the other hand, hunts 'em, eats 'em & leaves corpses by the door.

@jk my parents had a frog come in to the house once when it was raining and when they try to chase it off it just sat there.

@sandersch well he was probably more comfy in the house. We always find toads in our rain boots here.

@x1101 yes, but it takes quite a lot of energy, and they are more vulnerable to predators while it grows back.

@nybill I don't think there are many warriors amoung the lizard population in LA, maybe you have more agressive lizards in NY :)

@kevingranade yeah that looks right. They do this crazy thing where it looks like they're doing push-ups and their throat bulges out.

@nybill my friends used to get together once a week and watch the worst movie we could find and make fun of it, that one came up early.

@nybill that particular taunt somehow morphed into a DnD reference, I'm pretty sure it's on our group FAQ (yes, our gaming group had a FAQ)
