Dear !lazyweb: does anyone have any idea how to clear the cache in #Firefox on !Android? It's a bit hard to test things if you can't do that

@marjoleink Go to android's app manager and in there select firefox. Scroll down and you'll find an option to erase it's cache.

@marjoleink It has no such feature AFAIK. Try looking into its data folder.

@marjoleink There are add-ons that put a "clear cache" button in the right-side toolbar (swipe the screen to the left)

@rajitsingh @mvdan @bobjonkman thanks for the replies! I'll experiment - an extra button sound like a good idea for testing purposes!

@rajitsingh did that, curiously cache seemed empty but there was an option to clear all 'personal data' - crude maybe but it did the trick
-
@marjoleink Well then it's a design issue. Stuff that should have been (?) stored in the cache is being stored as internal app data.

@rajitsingh yes it's certainly odd. I think clearing 'personal data' would also have destroyed my passwords - except I never store any in Fx
