@bkuhn Thanks, glad you like how it came out. It's a good show :)
-
Thanks to @bkuhn and @kaz! I really appreciated the opportunity to talk about #OIN and discuss the term #disingenuous :)

@eximious, & the term #harp. @fontana confirms I was correct: the etymology's unrelated to #harpy. It's from "harp on one string". cc: @kaz

Glad we sorted that out! Thanks @fontana!
-
@eximious @bkuhn has accused me of being #disingenuous at least once
-
Nice to know I am in good company on the #disingenuous front. :)
-
@fontana, I don't think you're #disingenuous, but you frequently take disingenuous positions to advance !RedHat's or your own interest.
-
@bkuhn Is there really a difference between being disingenuous and taking disingenuous positions?
-
@johnnynull Ah. Point taken
-
I think not.
-
@johnnynull ... although @bkuhn did say: "to advance !RedHat's or your own interest." Which strikes me as being being disingenuous.
-
@evan I would tend to agree with you
-
@johnnynull I don't have the context - I just saw @bkuhn's remark and wondered what he saw the difference as being
-
IMO,one's only a disingenuous person if one's #disingenuous comments/positions are frequent;But I'm a politician so maybe I'm jaded on this?

@bkuhn you don't lie enough to be a politician
-
@bkuhn example?
-
Politicians are primarily very good at failing to mention things that are relevant. I'm admittedly very good at that; old Cicero tactic.
