     @samatjain I wonder the same thing... I guess people want to feel "mainstream", & saying "we DO have skype!" is part of it. Jabber/XMPP ftw!

     I'm waiting for KDE Telepathy 0.4 to hit !Kubuntu… my understanding is that w/ Jingle support I'll be able to video chat w/ phones?

     @samatjain if your contacts have a jingle-capable XMPP client on their phones, sure. Not sure if there are any yet
