Welp, Ping.fm is gone & now Seesmic Ping takes over. Still needs StatusNet support. Using #HelloTxt now but still doesn't work w/ Identica.

It's nice having Statusnet supported by those 3rd party services but I'd never rely on them. Nothing's more future-safe than native.

Yeah, but having to post to 4 different socnets individually wastes time. An aggregator helps. ;-)

I separated social network posts by topic according to audience. Statusnet get's different posts than - let's say - facebook.

I was able to do that with Ping.fm & Seesmic Ping does that too, but they have less networks now.

But for news blurbs I find interesting to post, I like to push them out to all socnets.

Oh, okay. Well, sad thing then. Obviously Statusnet userbase is not relevant to financial interests of Seesmic Corp. :/

Well, they do have a disclaimer stating "more to come" as far as socnets are concerned, so I hope they move them all over from Ping.fm.
