     #properwm is actually much closer to what I want in a window manager than Openbox was. Plus, the transparency is slick.

     If it wasn't for #properwm, #loft wouldn't exist. The xlib drawing code in dwm was way too absurd and I had to do *something* about it.

     The most anyone else did with dwm's drawing was sucky pango support. With #loft I get #cairo, #pango, *and* easy transparency.
