      sure, why not? Both vim and emacs are “real editors”. How do you manage the transition between the different usage styles?

      It's actually not that difficult. Vim is in my fingers and i know a couple of Emacs combinations and use M-x and tab for the others.

      So you don’t use the emacs navigation commands at all? Or do you use something like viper-mode?

      No i use the emacs way. (b)ack, (f)orward, (p)revious, (n)ext and so on is not so difficult to remember.

      I mostly use control-lock-mode when correcting with flyspell: , for finding the next error, . for cycling through corrections.

      Thanks! It's a nice function, but the thanks is mostly because i learned a lot about emacs extensions while i was installing it!

      I noticed, but it was the first time i installed an extension and i also found out about switchkeys for things like auto-fill. Very handy!

      Emacs reminds me of Vim because the first couple of times i used either of them they scared me away, but once that part was over the (1/2)
