@chalkahlom now we're getting too detailed, pet dogs & cats dent, now we need to know what the chicken is having for it's lunch?

@thistleweb the chicken in question has sadly - shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!

@chalkahlom I doubt you would keep the #poultry theme going if you knew any chickens personally

@laurelrusswurm that's an odd sentiment, so you think people would avoid meat if they were more intimately familliar with animals?

@kevingranade Hmm... could you eat Arnold Ziffel? Or Wilbur? Or Babe?

@chalkahlom possibly the best argument for eating poultry is how indescribably stupid chickens are

@laurelrusswurm There's probably a joke in there about Mac Fans and Soylent Green, but I wouldn't dream of making it ;-)

@laurelrusswurm not familliar, yes and with gusto. I've helped raise chickens, didn't make me the slightest bit hesitant to eat poultry.

@kevingranade An argument can be made for not eating pigs becasue they are smart ... not so chickens

@laurelrusswurm I've considered that, but it's !problematic, how do you measure it? what about smart chickens? Dumb pigs?

@laurelrusswurm I've jokingly proposed in the past that I'm a "Checktarian", meaning I only eat things that I can beat at chess.

@kevingranade lol! I never even considered that a chicken could be smart, but that is an excellent point :D
