    #BlueHost keynote is really a corporate sales pitch. Slowly but surely, !OSCON drifted from conference to trade show;LinuxWorld lives again!

      And sadly we can't even watch it using Free Software... as streaming requires Flash.

      @hub, that's indeed !disturbing. #r0ml pointed out the !OSCON mobile app is also proprietary software, just like streaming requirements. :-/

      @jla I have. Linux.conf.au had one, and it did work in Firefox on Linux without Flash.

      @jla, !Debian had live stream for #DebConf using Ogg/Vorbis (IIRC) & it worked well in #vlc. I watched #SPI BoF & it was like I was there.

      @bkuhn, @jla, Guadec (from 2010 I think) was also streamed perfectly using webm+vp8 and Icecast by Fluendo. I watched it in the browser.

      @bkuhn You may like #RMLL / #LSM (rmll.info) which is still volunteer based and non-commercial ;-)

      @oberger, I've been to #RMLL, as you may recall; we met there. :) I should go more often,but @rms goes so I feel my presence is duplicate.

      I do recall, as well as Solutions Linux, and memories of key fingerprints exchange at night outside ;-)
